This modern barn style home clad with Shou Sugi Ban, concrete tilt panels, and white matrix walls, sits beautifully on the block of land in Bellbrae.
The Shou Sugi Ban concealed front door opens to a large courtyard. This is showcased behind floor to ceiling windows, creating an inviting entry.
Once through the internal glass entry door, the ceiling height raises to a 5m cathedral ceiling, creating a beautiful open space for the main living.
There is an abundance of natural light streaming in through the large, fixed panel triangle window that sits above the sliding doors. The skylights and highlight windows on the east side of the home, allows the beautiful morning light through.
The 4m stone island bench provides ample space for entertaining and compliments the space beautifully with the Caesarstone waterfall ends.
Due to the high cathedral ceiling space in the living area, a mezzanine level was created above the kitchen. This provided an additional living space.
The large triangle internal window looks down over the open plan living space and over the backyard.
The glass balustrade in the mezzanine looks over the entry passage and through to the internal highlight window in the main lounge, providing connection to each section of the home.
The end of the open plan living space opens to the backyard and pool area. While the side opens up to a cosy undercover entertaining space with a fireplace. Additional natural light enters this space via the use of skylight.
The homes unique style can be enjoyed from the backyard and pool, creating a beautiful family home.
We are extremely proud of this modern barn style build.
